Act Enactment
“Plot Paradox”
A stage for storytellers, dramatists, and performers to reimagine and reframe iconic narratives. In this event, teams must enact a known play or story but with a creative twist — altering the plot to give it a fresh, unexpected ending. It's theatre, but with bold imagination and a flair for the dramatic.
1. Participation Format
- Total Entries: 1 team per house
- Team Size: 4–8 participants per team
- Time Limit: 6–10 minutes
- Only group entries are allowed.
2. Submission Process
All entries must submit a brief script outline (typed) in PDF format, highlighting the original story and the twist should be mentioned separately in the PDF.
Performances can be in English or Hindi.
Submissions must be emailed or messaged to the event coordinators.
Deadline for submission is: 18 June 2025
Late entries will not be considered.
The submission must include:
• Team name & participants' names
• Title of the act
• Summary of the original plot and the twist
• Contact details of the team leader

4. General Rules
- Performance order will be decided by a draw of lots.
- The storyline must be appropriate and respectful.
- Any act of misconduct, plagiarism, or time violation may result in disqualification.
- The judges' decision will be final and binding.
5. Do's and Don'ts
Do’s:- Choose well-known or culturally relevant plots.
- Bring a fresh and creative twist to the ending.
- Ensure smooth coordination and clear stage presence.
- Inform organizers in advance if using props or sound effects.
- Keep the performance within the time limit.
- Do not use copyrighted scripts without modification.
- Avoid offensive or insensitive content.
- No use of fire, sharp objects, or hazardous props.
- Do not rely entirely on narration — act it out.
- Refrain from disrupting other teams' performances.
