“In Between The Lines”

An invitation to all storytellers, poets, and essayists to let their words do the talking. This event is a celebration of literary creativity — crafted in silence, submitted online, and read with admiration. Whether it's poetry, short fiction, or a thought-provoking essay, your written voice deserves to be heard.

1. Participation Format

  • Total Entries: open to all
  • Participants per Entry: 1 only
  • Only solo entries allowed
  • Categories: Poetry / Short Story / Essay
  • Language Options: English or Hindi or Punjabi
  • Word Limit:
    • Poetry: 150-200 words
    • Essay: 300-400 words

2. Submission Process

All entries must be typed and submitted in PDF format.
Entries must be original, unpublished, and self-written.
Submissions must be emailed or sent via text to the event coordinators.
Submission Deadline: 18 June 2025
Late entries will not be considered.

Each entry must include:
• Participant's full name
• Category (Poetry / Short Story / Essay)
• Title of the piece
• House name
• Contact details

4. General Rules

  • Only one submission per participant.
  • Plagiarism will lead to immediate disqualification.
  • Use a readable font (e.g., Times New Roman, size 12).
  • All entries must adhere to the word/line limits.
  • The judges' decision will be final and binding.

5. Do's and Don'ts

Do’s:
  • Submit entries in PDF or Google Doc format only.
  • Ensure originality, coherence, and proper grammar.
  • Follow the theme and word limit (Poetry: 150-200 words, Essay: 300-400 words).
  • Cite sources if needed.
  • Meet the submission deadline strictly.
Don’ts:
  • No screenshots, handwritten notes, or image formats.
  • No copied or AI-generated content.
  • Avoid unrelated or off-topic submissions.
  • Don’t exceed the word limit.
  • Don’t submit multiple entries from the same individual.
